An alliance between white and pink gold

Piaget enriches its Dancer line with new models associating white and pink gold. Interpreted in two 28mm and 38mm sizes, this all-gold two-tone creation asserts Piaget’s innate flair for innovation.

The first in a long series of ultra-thin watches with a pure, restrained design, the Dancer watch displayed an elegantly refined style right from the time of its launch in 1986. A bezel forming a perfect circle adorned with double gadroons; a cambered sapphire crystal, dumbbell-shaped links forming an all-gold bracelet seamlessly integrated with the ultra-thin case: a truly impressive array of assets endowed this range with its unique and timeless charm.

The latest addition to this iconic collection, the Dancer 2 Tones line, is destined to delight both men and women. Its originality lies in accentuating its aesthetic identity codes by the combined use of pink and white gold that infuses the two new Dancer creations with a trendy yet classic appeal. On the technical side, this model offered in 28mm and 38mm versions bears the same horological signature as its predecessors. The 2.1 mm thick mechanical hand-wound 430P movement equipping the 38mm model stems directly from the legendary 9P calibre introduced in 1957 and which raised the Manufacture Piaget to an elite rank within the field of ultra-thin watchmaking. This movement admirably illustrates Piaget’s concern for finishing, expressed through the traditional circular Côtes de Genève motif, circular-grained mainplate, bevelled bridges and blued screws.

Elegance rules supreme
Framed by a slender, stylish case, the pure sunburst satin-brushed silver-toned dial is punctuated by double applied pink gold baton-type hour-markers alternating with simple black transferred counterparts. The bracelet extends the flowing perfection of the case through individually polished and sandblasted links entirely in-house assembled by the artisans of the Manufacture Piaget. It ensures incomparable wearer comfort by ideally adapting to the curves of the wrist. The integrated buckle engraved with the “P” brand initial, as well as the Piaget coat-of-arms on the case-back, grace this elegant watch with the final Manufacture-style finishing touches faithfully cherished by Piaget.

Lit up by 36 diamonds as well as double gadroons lending a subtle visual rhythm to the gemsetting on the pink gold bezel, this timepiece is crafted in the finest Piaget tradition and its innovative design stems from the two-tone design of the bracelet in 18-carat pink and white gold. It is one of the rare all-gold creations in two different colours currently on the watch market, and that is precisely what sets Piaget apart as the proponent of a unique and distinctive style.
