Boegli the SERIE ZERO

The SERIE ZERO is an ambitious and innovative development, uniting technical prowess with an extraordinary design.

For us as watchmaking company, it was most important to develop our own calibre. This new hand-wound movement offers an exceptional complication: A musical movement as in a music-box which plays a full melody "au passage de l'heure", i.e. every hour, and with has a power reserve of more than 24 hours. In order to store the enormous amount of energy to make this possible, a system with 3 barrels had to be developed which allows the winding of the three barrels as well as the setting of the hands by one single crown. The melody can also be played at any time at the simple push of a button.

To unveil the manufacture movement, we have opted for a dial made fromtinted sapphire crystal. The magnificently finished hands underline the musical dimension of the watch by integrating a violin clef. The rehaut as well as a three-dimensional disc on the dial ensure perfect legibility of the hours and minutes.

The case of the watch perfectly unites the technical demands with a contemporary design language. The titanium midsection of the case combined with an innovative mounting of the rack of the musical movement produces an exceptional tone of the melody played.

To best meet the demands of the true aficionados of complicated watchmaking, the SERIE ZERO is produced in two specifications: Bicolour (titanium with a lunette in rose gold) or PVD-coated in black. The bracelet is of course real alligator leather and sports a titanium buckle.

Each of the two models is limited to 99 pieces.
