La Montre Hermès sees life in the pink
Each year, Hermès offers new seasonal shades, colours that set the tone. In 2013, watch straps from the Maison are adopting lipstick pink – a tangy shade framing a case designed in 1978 by Henri d’Origny and featuring a curve inspired by the equestrian world. While time passes, the object and the style live on.
Hermès introduces two steel models with a matt white dial: a 28 mm case and another 32 mm version, housing a self-winding movement driving a central seconds hand and a date display at 3 o’clock. These models are fitted with a smooth Lipstick pink calfskin strap graced with a tone-on-tone interpretation of the emblematic Hermès saddle stitching. While Hermès has been tailoring its history for 176 years, La Montre Hermès has housed a workshop dedicated to crafting leather straps since October 2006. For this distinctive signature reflecting its expertise, the brand meticulously selects its leather hides in a spirit of passion and perfection, revealing a wide and perpetually reinvented range of varieties and colours.
