TURBINE DIVER
Perrelet’s iconic Turbine Diver collection welcomes a new model featuring a pure steel case exalting the pristine appeal of a white rubber strap. The 11-blade turbine with its rounded curves evokes the shape of a submarine propeller. As it spins freely over the SuperLuminova-covered surface, this distinctive element creates the illusion of an entirely luminescent dial that naturally becomes more intense in nocturnal darkness or at great depths. The Arabic numerals, the main indications as well as the lightly black-rimmed hour and minute hands are also coated in SuperLuminova.
The personality of the Turbine Diver is accentuated by a 47.5 mm-diameter case, water-resistant to 300 metres and specifically designed for this collection. The fluted case middle features four claws attached to the bezel, while the integrated winding crown is offset at 4 o’clock, symmetrically positioned in relation to the rotating bezel control. Dive times are measured via a rotating inner bezel ring on which the average 20-minute time stands out clearly thanks to a play on volumes. This function is controlled at 10 o’clock via a user-friendly crown equipped with a locking system. The sapphire crystal framed by the screw-down case-back affords an admirable view of the automatic P-331 movement developed on the basis of the Manufacture-made Alternance 10 calibre with its Côtes de Genève motifs.
The Turbine Diver collection is complemented by models interpreted in versions with monochrome (steel) or two-tone (steel/black DLC-coated steel) versions featuring colour variations on the inner bezel rings.
