The Lady 8, a new fine jewelry watch elegantly plays on curves, for women who appreciate the sensuality of time.
The symbol of infinity and completeness, the figure 8, Jaquet Droz’s lucky number has always been present on the dial of the Grande Seconde. A permanent source of inspiration, it appears here for the first time on the case and the buckle of a very feminine model, bound to appeal to more than one lady with its playful side and jewelry.
The bezel intertwined with a gem-set ribbon highlights the curves of the watch, whose simplicity and refinement catch the eye. The effects of volume and depth of the crown enhance the rounded shape of the case, while the domed sapphire glass, the dial and the hands accentuates the three-dimensionality of this timepiece.
A last coquettish touch: at its summit, a pearl or a round precious stone accentuates the precious aspect of the watch. Its owner finds herself irresistibly drawn to touch this ornament that matches the dial of her choice, and turn it with her finger.
In order to give the Lady 8 more fluid lines, the lugs have given way to a satin or alligator strap attached to the case, which comes in gem-set white or red gold or stainless steel. The new folding clasp, specially created for this model, also takes the shape of a figure of eight, reaffirming the striking identity of the Lady 8 on the inside of the wrist.
