Good looks are always guaranteed at ado but this men’s model will dale with its functions as well as its pretty face. Five all new references make up the first selection of touch technology comlications and there’s a technical ado twist with the materials too.
Slim, streamlined and featuring the now famous Rado monobloc case construction, the new Rado HyperChrome Ceramic Touch Dual Timer is the perfect package for the breakthrough technology which sits inside the case. t’s a comlication that’s simple to use and doesn’t need a crown.
Dual Timer: A touch of manliness Two hands on the main dial display the time where you are now and two hands on the small dial at 6 o’clock show the second time one.
The main time display is set using sensors at the top of the case. After activation slide your finger along the left hand side of the case to change the hours and on the right hand side to change the minutes. The minutes on the two time zones are synchronised to guarantee accuracy and both minute hands will move during time setting on the main dial.
The small dial is set using the sensors at the bottom of the case. After activation slide your finger along the left hand side of the case to change the hours and on the right to change the minutes in quarter hour intervals. 15 minutes is the smallest difference between world time zones and the quartz movement in this new Rado watch makes changing this interval super simple as well as ultra quick. Technology has made possible what cannot be achieved with a mechanical watch: a 15 minute leap forward or back across time zones.
Need to change the second time zone to the main display as you cross time zones? o roblem. Touch the ceramic case at 9 and 3 o’clock simultaneously and watch time fly as the Rado magic swaps the times on the dials.

Changing time zones – at the touch of a finger (Lengnau, Switzerland – 2014) The new ceramic touch technology from Rado also includes a complication: a watch with an analogue 2nd Time Zone display: a Dual Timer. The technology behind the luxury is simple to use even though it uses cutting edge software. This is how it works.
This watch has no crown. It is activated and the time is set by touch only. The high- tech ceramic case has 6 sensors and the two sides of the case are the active touch zones. This watch has a 2nd Time Zone function, which is synchronised with the main one.
The first time zone is displayed on the main dial. The second time zone is displayed on the small dial at 6 o’clock. Activation is always a two-step process to avoid any unwanted changes in time setting.
To set the main time zone (main dial) 1. Touch the case at 10 o’clock until the minute hand on the main dial moves slightly. Immediately slide your finger along the right hand side of the case from top to bottom. The minute hand moves slightly again and the watch emits a small beep. Now the watch is activated and the time zone on the main dial can be set. 2. To set the hours slide your finger along the left hand side of the case (clockwise = + 1 hour, anti-clockwise = - 1 hour) To set the minutes slide your finger along the right hand side of the case (clockwise = + 1 minute, anti-clockwise = - 1 minute) In order to keep both time zones in synch, the minute hand on both dials will move during the setting process on the main dial. 3. To confirm the time setting and deactivate the watch touch the case at 10 o’clock or at 8 o’clock for 2 seconds. The watch emits two small beeps. Setting mode is now deactivated and the time cannot be changed accidentally.
To set the second time zone (small dial) 1. Touch the case at 8 o’clock until the minute hand on the small dial moves slightly. Immediately slide your finger along the right hand side of the case from top to bottom. The minute hand moves slightly again and the watch emits a small beep.
Now the watch is activated and the time zone on the small dial can be set. 2. To set the hours slide your finger along the left hand side of the case (clockwise = + 1 hour, anti-clockwise = - 1 hour) To set the quarter hours (minimum possible time zone difference) slide your finger along the right hand side of the case (clockwise = + ¼ hour, anti-clockwise = - ¼ hour) 3. To confirm the time setting and deactivate the watch touch the case at 8 o’clock or at 10 o’clock for 2 seconds. The watch will emit two small beeps. Setting mode is now deactivated and the time cannot be changed accidentally.
Time zone swap When the watch is activated for either dial, you can change the time on the small dial to the main dial, and the time on the main dial to the small dial. To do this touch the case simultaneously at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. The hands on both dials will move quickly and the exact time set on each dial will move to the other dial.
